2 cups; coarsely chopped or sliced, fresh celery
1 cup; chopped, fresh onion
1 large, unpeeled apple, cored and chopped
1/2 cup; seedless raisins
1 cup; shelled walnuts
1 tablespoon; dry, white wine or lemon juice
1/2 box (6 oz.) of Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup; water or chicken broth
Fresh Gourmet Crispy Onions
Additional walnuts for optional topping
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, combine all vegetables, apple, raisins, walnuts and wine or lemon juice. Add dry, Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing and stir/fold until well blended.
Add chicken broth or water to melted butter or margarine and pour over mixture and stir/fold until all ingredients are evenly moist.
Transfer to a rectangular baking dish that has been prepared with cooking oil spray.
If desired, top with Fresh Gourmet Crispy Onions and additional walnuts.
Bake on middle rack of preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove from oven, cool slightly and serve.
