Basic Saucepan Stuffing

Ingredients

2 tablespoons; butter or margarine

1/2 cup; finely chopped celery

1/2 cup; finely chopped onion

1 1/3 cups; broth, fruit juice, or water

1/2 box (6 oz.) of Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing or Seasoned Corn Bread Stuffing

Method

Place the butter or margarine in a large saucepan, and melt over medium heat. Add the celery and onion, and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft.

Add the broth, fruit juice, or water to the saucepan, and bring to boil over high heat. Cover the saucepan, reduce the heat, and simmer for 3 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat, and stir in the stuffing mix. Cover and let stand for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
